Split and Combine by Dimension
CloudTest includes the ability to split or combine the data in some charts by one or more dimensions. The split/combine dimensions currently include location, domain, and clip. For example, a location or domain that is aggregated across multiple servers so it appears as a single line in a chart, you can now split it to create a line for each server. Splits, and subsequent combines, are performed using the Split/Combine button that appears on widget title bars (shown below). Both domain and location can be split, where applicable. See Split or Combine Availability per Widget for a complete list of charts that can be split or combined and by which dimensions. |
If a chart can only be split by only one dimension, it is split by that dimension whenever its Split/Combine button is clicked, and its title bar then indicates the split (whether by Location, by Domain, or by Clip). Clicking the button a second time will re-combine the split dimensions. |
Split by LocationUse the following instructions to split results that contain multi-location data. Location refers to the geographic location from which the load in tests is generated.
As a result of the split by location, the chart above now displays location information split by color (as shown below). Additionally, the title bar now indicates "by Location." |
To identify the color correspondence per location, click Legend to inspect color. Optionally, check or uncheck a series to toggle it. |
Combine by Location
Once Combine by Location is selected, the widget’s title is restored to its original state (e.g. Error Count by Location becomes Error Count once again). |
Split by DomainUse the following instructions to split results that contain multi-domain data. Domain refers to the distinct hostname or IP address from which a message or set of message responses originate.

As a result of the split by domain, the chart displays domain information split by color (as shown below). Additionally, the title bar now indicates "by Domain." |
To identify the color correspondence per location, click Legend to inspect color. Optionally, check or uncheck a series to toggle it. |
