A checkpoint is a test clip element that indicates that no further action take place until a response has been received from the prior message. A checkpoint may be an essential component whenever the prior action requires some sort of response and can be used in conjunction with response validation.   Create a New Checkpoint Open a new or existing clip in the Test Clip Editor.
In a new clip, add a message that will require a checkpoint. This can be done from the Included Targets > Operations list (lower right). In an existing clip, select the message that will require a checkpoint.
Click the Add drop-down and then select Add New Checkpoint.
Click Save to accept your changes.
