Browser actions are clip elements that specify a single action for SOASTA Conductor to execute in a browser. Common actions include clicking on links and typing in inputs. Browser actions are added to a Test Clip through recording or by adding the action manually through the Clip Editor.

When a browser action has been added to a Test Clip, it appears as a clip element in the Clip Editor.

Browser actions are edited in the properties pane of the Clip Editor when a browser action is selected and the Selected: <browser action name> tab is chosen.

The Clip Editor lower panel can be resized (minimized, maximized, ...) by clicking the Resize buttons.

The Browser Action Editor consists of three parts, the (leftmost) Elements and Properties list; the middle pane, which contains Inputs and Information; and a reference panel that shows reference information pertaining to the selected action.

When Inputs are selected in the outline, the inputs for the selected action are shown and can be edited.

When the top-level Browser Action item is selected in the Elements and Properties outline, general information about the browser action is shown. Three browser action tabs are presented in the middle panel: General (This is where a description can be entered about the particular action and error handling can be set); Repeate (set action-level repeats); and Custom Properties (define one or more action properties).

Waits, Outputs, Validations and Property Sets, and Custom Properties can all be added in the Browser Action editor.
